Walter C. Fluharty, Psy.D., SPHR, CEES

Dr. Fluharty is an internationally recognized Organizational Psychologist with extensive experience in developing and successfully implementing behavior-based performance improvement processes for major international organizations while holding various leadership and executive positions. A well-published author and frequent speaker at national and international performance improvement symposiums, Dr. Fluharty has built an impressive track record of reducing injuries while improving productivity, quality, efficiency, environmental performance and increasing sales. He is skilled at assessing and engaging all levels of an organization’s culture to facilitate processes that enhance bottom-line performance and ensure organizational optimization and excellence. During his career in private industry, he became a recognized leader in Behavioral-Based Safety and has a broad knowledge of SH&E principles, tools, and systems. In addition to a Psy.D. from Southern California University for Professional Studies, Dr. Fluharty holds and M.S. In Safety and a B.A. in Industrial Supervision and Management from Marshall University.
